Due to the wide spread of COVID-19 as of Monday, November 16, 2020, we will NO LONGER RECEIVE DOCUMENTS IN PERSON. Please mail in all documents for recording and request for Certified copies. Documents can also be recorded through our E-filing system please see below for instructions.
Our office is working under limited operation. Please be advised that now we are only excepting calls between 8:00 am – 3:45 pm, Monday – Friday. As you know the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID 19) has made it necessary to prepare and plan for a variety of different outcomes. In light of this I strongly urge you to consider contracting with one of the three e-filing vendors who serve this office to ensure the recording of your documents.
Please be advised as of April 6th , only e-filing, hours of operation will be 8:00am – 2:00pm Monday – Friday eastern standard time. Our recordings will be done in the order received.

Hudson County Register’s Office Selects Harris Recordings Solutions to Modernize Records System
Hudson County Register’s Office will be GOING LIVE with a new software system created by Harris Recording Solutions. Our office will officially go live on Monday, December 9, 2019. In order to properly transition, our office we will be ceasing any new recording activity at 4:00 pm EST on Thursday, December 5, 2019. This notice is to advise you of our upcoming changes in our support programs available now through Harris Solutions. We are committed to meeting your needs, and many of your suggestions have been incorporated into our new system.
